Teen Community Service Opportunities
Do you have a heart for serving others? Want to find ways to help in New York City?
Jews for Jesus connects teens with opportunities to give back. Once a month throughout the school year, we provide tangible ways for teens to participate in our communities.
Past projects have included volunteering at food pantries, packing gift baskets for new parents, planting flowers in local parks, painting murals at NYC public schools, and serving hot meals to the homeless. We’ve partnered with New York Cares, the Bowery Mission, World Vision and many others.
If you’re a teen who would like to participate, or you know someone who would like to get involved, please contact our Children and Youth Coordinator, Rebekah Rood at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Participants are required to have a signed permission form from a parent or legal guardian. At the conclusion of the day, letters acknowledging participation and hours of service will be distributed.
