- 10 sheets of matzo
- 1 cup of butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
Preheat oven to 350°.
In a saucepan, bring butter and brown sugar to a boil, stirring frequently. When it begins to thicken, remove pan from heat.
Line baking sheets with parchment paper. Cover in a layer of matzo. Drizzle toffee mixture over matzo, spreading evenly with the bottom of a spoon.
Place matzo into preheated oven. Bake until toffee bubbles and begins to brown.
Remove from oven. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and shredded coconut. Return to oven until chocolate melts. Remove from oven and spread melted chocolate evenly across the matzo. Let cool. Break into smaller pieces and serve, or store in plastic bags and refrigerate to serve later.
